Trainee Procurement - The AC starts with a presentation and an introduction to the people who will be evaluating you. There are 2 or 3 people for each candidate, it is divided in 3 sections. The first section lasts an hour and it is an interview where they ask about your CV and there are other questions aimed at assessing specific soft skills. This part is 50% German, 50% English. The second part is a case study, here you get info about a company facing some problems to which you are required to propose solutions and recommendations. You have 45 min to read and prepare, then you must first hold a 10 min presentation about the current situation and then your proposals, the next 20 minutes are for questions. This section is 100% in German.
The last part is a negotiation of a contract with a new supplier for the purchase of a commodity. You get the necessary info and some time for preparing for the meeting, then you have a person playing the part of the supplier and you must negotiate the best price possible. 100% English.
All and all very nice atmosphere and really nice and friendly people. Its quite challenging but there is no feeling of intense stress. Hope this hints are useful for somebody out there. antworten
