The last assessment was on the 11th. After that, they all deliberated on the 12th and made the decision on which candidates from all the ACs would get a job offer. Then on Friday the 13th they called all candidates to offer the positions. It has nothing to do with when you had your AC.

The last assessment was on the 11th. After that, they all deliberated on the 12th and made the decision on which candidates from all the ACs would get a job offer. Then on Friday the 13th they called all candidates to offer the positions. It has nothing to do with when you had your AC.

Well that seems to be the case even tough they told people during the last assessment center days we should expect an answer not until the week before christmas...the communication by the lufthansa HR is definitley not the best

I don’t think it matters at what time you got the call on Friday. My call came in the afternoon. But it does not matter as all candidates received the offer on Friday. If you have not heard from them yet you will either get a rejection or you are on the waiting list.

They told us something different. In my AC, they said you will receive an answer before Christmas and they did not say specifically which week. So I think the Lufthansa Communication ist just fine.

How are you so sure about all the candidates?

Do I have to honestly explain it again? I already said that it does not make sense for Lufthansa to only get offers to some candidates in Friday. They will have given offers to every candidate in Friday and now you have to wait for a rejection or you will be on the waiting list. It was already explained here.

Yes! I had trouble accessing the ZUP but now it’s working but very slowly.

I just spent over two hours filling out all the new neccessary information in the career cockpit and then the site broke and all my information was lost. So I have to start all over again! :( Anyone else?

Okay danke für den Hinweis, dass ein Praktikum eine Beschäftigung ist :D. Beim Studium bin ich mir unsicher. Wenn Studium eine Beschäftigung ist müsste die Schulzeit ja dann auch eine Beschäftigung sein? Alles irgendwie verwirrend.

Habe mich gerade mal ein wenig schlau gemacht und zum Thema "Beschäftigungen" folgendes gefunden:

"Mit der Verordnung (EU) Nr. 185/2010 der Kommission vom 4. März 2010 zur Festlegung von detaillierten Maßnahmen für die Durchführung der gemeinsamen Grundstandards in der Luftsicherheit sind ab sofort im Rahmen der Zuverlässigkeitsüberprüfung alle Beschäftigungsverhältnisse, Aus- und Weiterbildungen mindestens während der letzten 5 Jahre zu erfassen. Gibt es beim Antragsteller Unterbrechungen in Ausbildungs- oder Beschäftigungszeiten von mehr als 28 Tagen in den letzten 5 Jahren, so sind diese Lücken vollständig auf dem Antragsformular entsprechend anzugeben. Dabei sind die Zeit und Art der Unterbrechungen im Antragsformular einzutragen. Ergeben sich mehr als zwei Zeiträume ist dies auf einem zusätzlichen Blatt gesondert anzugeben. Sollten sich Fragen zu Ihren Angaben ergeben, wird sich die Luftsicherheitsbehörde gesondert mit Ihnen in Verbindung setzen."

Demnach gelten ja dann sowohl das Studium als auch sämtliche Praktika als "Beschäftigung", oder? :)

Ich denke nicht, lieber zu viele Infos bei solchen Sachen als zu wenige. Am Ende heißt es man hätte etwas verheimlicht :D

Okay that's weird. I got the phone call that I'm in on Dec. 13th and the mail on Dec. 20th but still no contract,.. All I got is the request to fill out the Short CV. Maybe I should contact HR if the contract does not arrive this week.

Für den Start im April ist die Bewerbungsphase schon vorbei, die ACs waren hierfür im Dezember, bewerben konnte man sich ab Oktober meine ich

Das Auswahlverfahren startet immer ca. ein halbes Jahr vor dem Startdatum. Ich habe einen Platz im ProTeam ab April 2020 bekommen und habe mich glaube ich im September 2019 beworben. Dementsprechend müssten die Bewerbungen für Oktober 2020 so ca. ab März/April möglich sein. Viele Grüße! :)

I got my contract before clearing the ZUP! there was a two week tiem difference between those two

Also I got no information about the medical examination. Will it be in April or should we make an appointment in advance?

You can already request the Fraport ID beforehand without the AVSEC. Then you can make an appointment to pick up the ID in April and you can complete the AVSEC within your first week at Lufthansa and bring the confirmation to your appointment.

The medical exam will also be completed within your first weeks at Lufthansa, you don't have to schedule it beforehand :)

As far as I know the LH locations in FRA are the LH Aviation Center at the airport, LH Technik, Cargo etc. are located at the Airport and then there is the office in Raunheim. So everything with a good accessibility to the Airport and Raunheim should be a good place to look for an apartment

The office in Raunheim is Lufthansa Systems, you won’t be working there unless you specifically choose a station at Lufthansa Systems. You should look for housing close to the airport so the western and southern parts of Frankfurt are a good choice. You can of course also look in the city center if Frankfurt as the train connection to the airport is great but keep in mind that the closer you get to the city center, the more expensive the apartments will be.

Allgemein leidet die Wirtschaft unter der Massenhysterie um das Corona Virus. Der Programmstart zum April steht aber ja, ich mache mir da aktuell mal noch keine Gedanken

Es heißt intern „es werde versucht Probezeitkündiungen zu vermeiden es kann allerdings nicht ausgeschlossen werden“ und das war bevor der Flugplan nochmal drastisch zusammengestrichen wurde

Same with me. I was called last week and told that we would receive a decision about how to proceed last week. Until now, I have not heard any official word about what the plan is. I also didn’t receive an official email saying the program was put on hold or that the start date would be moved.

I really understand that the current situation is not easy for LH as well as for all companies but I really was hoping for a more transparent and open communication with us. So all we can do is waiting for an update a few more days. I wish we would have been noticed earlier.

I really understand that the current situation is not easy for LH as well as for all companies but I really was hoping for a more transparent and open communication with us. So all we can do is waiting for an update a few more days. I wish we would have been noticed earlier.

I agree. I can’t even imagine how though these times must be for Lufthansa. But many people have moved to Frankfurt and have rent and other expenses that need to be paid starting next week. Our official start is less than 10 days away and we still have no idea what is happening. I think the worst thing about this all is the unknown - not knowing what will happen to us and our future job.

Yes you have to sign a new contract and you won’t get any income or support until January 2021

Wenn du für den start am 01.04. einen Vertrag unterschrieben hast, wirst du die Mail auch bekommen haben. Wenn nicht, geht es dich doch nichts am. Wieso also fragen?

Ich bin ProTeamer, also nicht IT. Vertrag wurde vor einigen Monaten unterschrieben für den Start am 01.04.2020. Gestern kam die Mail, dass der Start auf den 01.01.2021 verschoben wird und die nächsten Tage eine Vertragsänderung mit der Post kommt. Anscheinend auch keine Kompensation in irgendeiner Art in der Zwischenzeit.
